Adam Gormley Photography

Adam has been photographing around the world for over 25 years. He is passionate about nature and all of the amazing things it has to offer, quoted as saying “No two sunsets/sunrises are ever the same”. Often found sitting quietly on a rock/beach or pathway with his tripod in front of him waiting for the “Magic” to happen, is when Adam feels most comfortable with the world.

Based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, he constantly hunts and chases the beautiful “first light”, and “last light” moments of the day. Many people miss these, and Adam aims to capture this beauty, and share it with the world. His style is unique and gives the world a glimpse of the magic through Adam’s eyes.

Adam’s work has been published in Australian Geographic and Caravan and RV magazine to name just a couple. Winning the Australian Tourism award in 2011 for best image (Dingo Poser) was a memorable moment for Adam that gave him the ability to visit beautiful Lizard Island to capture all that it has to offer.

Using a Medium Format professional field camera system, Adam’s images can be printed extremely large without quality loss. This has allowed Adam to move to the Direct Aluminium (not Aluminium mounting) printing in large format to see the full glory of the images Adam has captured. Few photographers in Australia have this high quality imagery.
